This week I want to tell you all about the new Molex ValuSeal™ it’s pretty new so I’m quite excited to see how it does out in the industry.
In short the ValuSeal™ is a IP65 a rated connector system with positive latching and integrated environmental seals. It is set to compete directly with other similar connectors.
What is different is the integrated seal meaning you no longer have to fiddle about with the little seals over the wire before crimping which for anyone that has had to assemble those in the past we can all agree this is a great improvement.
Here are some quick specs:
IP65-rated, integrated wire-and-ring seal (for wire
2-circuit connector currently available; 4-circuit coming in Q2 2017
One-piece housing design
Compact 4.00mm pitch
I can think of may applications that would benefit from the use of these connectors and they way Molex have positioned on price them they make a quite attracting argument for any new and existing designs.
