This week 3M enters the ring with their 3M Esperance newsletters.  The content packed into these informative newsletters leads to more in-depth technical information on their website.  The great thing about what 3M is trying to do is the way they are engaging with their customers through multimedi, with concepts such as their Twitter Q&A which invites you to ask their engineers questions – live!

This is a great move, as anything which helps us to work better can’t be a bad thing!  With the bar being set this high how can we in small and medium sized businesses compete?  It is easier than you think – develop the habit of weekly blogging and sending out tweets for a start, it can only do good!

Anything extra you can do will show your customers that you are current and that you provide useful, relevant information; your customers will be very impressed!
