This week I want to introduce you to the JST JFA connector series. We think it’s great because like most great things it’s simple in design and easy to use.
With a 5.08mm pitch this connector series is designed for 18 – 14 awg wires and a great alternative to using terminal blocks or crimp connectors.
The simplicity of the connector means no tools are required! Simply open the spring latched cavity and insert the wire. Unlike terminal blocks this connector takes less space and is a good cost effective alternative.
An added benefit is these can be used as wire to wire or wire to board connectors giving any design engineer multiple options for providing power to device.
