In this industry it can be like waiting for a bus you wait for an innovation and two come at once. This week I am bring you not one but two innovations’ from JST bit aimed at vibration resistant applications.
Good news as I like products designed for anti vibration as when designing in these products you just know you won’t suffer from unexpected disconnects.
The first is the XNI Series wire-to-board, 2.5 mm (.098”) pitch, crimp style connectors very similar to the XHP Series but boosts and additional features the JST proven inertia locking system which prevents a false mated condition. The housing and mating header must be fully mated before there is any connection between the header pins and receptacle contacts.
The XNI Series is available in 2 through 11 circuit sizes rated 3A (using 22 AWG) at 250V (AC/DC). The contacts are tin-plated over a phosphor bronze base material and accommodate a wire range of 30 AWG to 22 AWG.
The box design provides redundant points of contacts assuring a reliable connection. Temperature range is -25 C degrees to +85 C degrees including temperature rise in applying electrical current. PCB mounted, through hole headers are available in top entry configuration. Housings are molded in a RoHS compliant 94V-0 material.
The Second in the series is the FPS Series wire-to-board, 8.8 mm (.346”) pitch, crimp style connectors. These ate high power large wire connectors for The JFPS Series is available in 2 and 3 circuit sizes rated 35A (using 10 AWG) at 600V (AC/DC).
The contacts are tin-plated over a copper alloy base material and accommodate a wire range of 12 AWG to 10 AWG. Temperature range is -40 C degrees to +105 C degrees including temperature rise in applying electrical current
