Grey is the new Green with Amphenol Industrial Gray ZnNi Circular Connectors
Amphenol Industrial Gray Zinc Nickel (ZnNi) Circular Connectors provide Cadmium free RoHS compliant harsh environment plating. These ZnNi plating connectors were originally developed for Harsh Marine Environments and therefore feature a -65°C to +200°C temperature range as well as rated at 500 hours of salt spray.
These connectors offer less than 2.5mΩ conductivity and consist of gray zinc over an electroless nickel (Gray ZnNi) base giving the connector a light gun metal gray appearance. This plating is ideal for harsh environments through its high corrosion resistance and has no significant galvanic reaction when mated with leading standard market plating options.
