A Blog on the future of interconnection

This week I am going to give you a window into the future!  How about designing circuit board interconnections with a pen and paper… then testing to see if your design works from the page?

Designing electronics is generally cumbersome and expensive — or was, until Leah Buechley and her team at MIT developed tools to treat electronics just like paper and pen.  That’s right Leah and those wonderful geeks have come up with something so simple, yet so cutting-edge.

This new system works by taking a metallic pen and normal  paper to create the connections literally on the page.  There is a lot of technical information behind the innovation I recommend you watch this video instead, it is amazing!   Now go-ahead and design something brilliant!
